Take Me Where Summer Never Ends

We have been experiencing a fabulous stretch of weather lately, which is brightening the spirits of our residents, staff, and all who visit our home.
Everyone is doing their best to stay cool and enjoy all that summer has to offer.

It’s been busy in the last month trying to sort through the changes in policies and protocols around COVID-19 since the province has moved to Stage 3 of "Open for Summer" on July 1st.

While the province moves forward with these changes, our community has not. A community like Wild Rose adheres to different guidelines put forth by Public Health. We are re-opening in two stages, starting with visitors, dining, and recreation.

Changes in COVID-19 Protocols:
  • Designated Essential Visitors has been lifted; families and friends can once again visit their loved ones in their suites. Common area visits are not permitted at this time.

  • Temperature checks are no longer necessary - however, screening upon entry is still mandatory.

  • Recreation programming will be expanded for more participants as well as singing inside. We are excited to begin booking entertainment indoors again.

  • Dining services will be offered to our guests again. We do ask that you notify our Food Services team in advance if you are joining your loved ones.

Continuous masking indoors for Retirement and Long-Term Care is still in effect.

If we continue to follow these important precautions, we will not only keep one another safe from the virus but continue to be able to welcome visitors and enjoy our freedom. Patience and kindness are of the utmost importance. This is a learning curve for all of us.

Thank you for continuing to partner with us on behalf of everyone’s wellbeing!
